Taking the opportunity of the UN Ocean Conference 2025 in Nice, GEO Blue Planet organises an official side-event to gather members and partners of IMDOS - the Integrated Marine Debris Observing System. 

Held in the Nice Mama Shelter Hotel on the afternoon of 12th June 2025, the event will first start with a closed meeting of the IMDOS Steering Committee, to take stock of the progress made in the first semester. Then, the event will be open to a wider audience and interested partners to present the work of IMDOS and showcase successful international cooperation examples in marine litter monitoring, data harmonization and policy support.
